Paparazzi

Paparazzi is a term that originating in the 1960's film in Italy. One of the characters in the film is a news photographer named Paparazzo. Now this term is the trend in this times. But why this kind of prying into other people's private lives will be so common? There could be many reasons.

For me, first, I don't agree with paparazzi. It should be banned certainly. I think that nobody will be willing to be infringed on their private life. Sure of celebrities. When the paparazzi follow celebrities or politicians, they do not know how dangerous it can be. Many cases show us that paparazzi don't care about the results of tailing. They may have car accidents or something. For example, the most fame situation is that Princess Diana be tailing then passed away in an accident. This accident cause many people to concern about it. This issue still not be solved in law.

Second, the government should set up a law that stop paparazzi snapping. Here are some examples, in Norway, Germany and France, photographers need to have permission of the people in their photographers. Time magazine ran a story entitled “Shooting Star”, Mel Bouzad, one of the top paparazzi in Los Angeles at that time, claimed to have made US$150,000 for a picture of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez after their break-up. “If I get a picture of Britney and her baby,” Bouzad claimed, “I'll be able to buy a house in those hills.” Although parts of people love to gossip, paparazzi should know the limit of what they are doing.

Third, paparazzi can misleading us in many things. No matter the entertainment or the political affairs. In order to attract more people to watch their masterpiece, they may report the wrong information and love to explode the issues as well.

To conclusion, I really don't think that paparazzi is a good behavior. They just follow the celebrities and politicians everywhere. Won't they feel tiring?
